Yes, that is certainly possible. We recommend that you first lightly sand the surface, remove any grease and apply a primer. Then use a primer and let it dry overnight, so that the wallpaper adheres better. Please note: with thin planks, the glue can cause the material to warp.
Important: Wood or MDF may not have a plastic top layer. Wallpaper will adhere less well to this, which can cause the wallpaper to come loose.
